Tara graduated from the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2012. Upon graduating, she had a busy practice in a multi disciplinary clinic in Kamloops prior to moving to Smithers in 2019. She is passionate about assisting patients as they work towards their goals in health. She believes this is possible by supporting the body’s innate ability to restore its strength and balance in areas of injury and pain. Tara adjusts her treatments to the needs of the individual. She integrates many techniques in her therapeutic treatment which can include but are not limited to: myofascial release, deep tissue work, joint mobilizations, active and passive stretching, and trigger point therapy. She attends continuing education courses on an ongoing basis.
In her spare time, Tara enjoys spending time outside mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and playing various sports. She is excited to explore Smithers in every season with her two dogs and husband in tow.
Tara is accepting new patients and is thrilled to be a part of the Trillium team.
