Paige is originally from northern BC and has been living and working down on Vancouver Island before making the move up to Smithers, she is thrilled to be able to call the north home again! She completed her chiropractic training in Portland Oregon and prior to that had obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sport, Health and Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. In between her schooling Paige had the opportunity to embark on many adventures including a three week road trip through the Maritimes, spending the majority of her time hiking and camping in Newfoundland. From there she went up to the Yukon, backpacking through Kluane National park and completing the Chilkoot Trail. Then onto Chile to complete the Torres Del Paine’s ‘O’ circuit in Patagonia and then spending a week in Argentina relaxing and exploring everything she could!
Paige’s active lifestyle is part of what drew her to chiropractics. She is passionate about holistic health and helping people return to doing what they love. While Paige enjoys treating patients of all ages, conditions, and backgrounds she has a special interest in biomechanics and gait as well as women’s health and nutrition. In practice Paige assesses and analyzes the needs of her patients using a whole-body approach and treats them by emphasizing healthy functional movement, manual and instrument assisted adjusting, and a variety of soft tissue techniques. She also utilizes patient education and at home exercise therapy and rehab to supplement her in office care and help patients reach their optimal level of health and functioning. Paige has also recently completed training in orthotics and is excited to be able to offer custom orthotics to Smithers and the surrounding area!
